Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL)
Airlines and Terminals
(Dallas, Texas - TX, USA)
Dallas Love Field Airport has regular services to 19 regional US destinations, including airports in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Alabama, Missouri and Arkansas.
The major airline servicing this facility is Southwest, with Delta Connection providing less frequent flights.
Dallas Love Field is surprisingly large and roomy for its current number of flight services in operation. Arrivals is situated on the ground level, with escalators and elevators providing access to the second floor Departures area.
Although there are three concourses at the airport, at present only two (the East and the West concourses) are operational, with the North Concourse reserved for future expansion. Two parking garages are positioned back to back to provide short-term and long-term parking, and are connected to the terminal by an all-weather covered people mover.
Terminal Information
Dallas Love Field Airport is well spread out, with three concourses spiraling out from a central lobby. There is a baggage claim wing that juts out to the left of the main entrance and serves Arrivals. The West, East and North concourses serve Departures, although at present only the West and East concourses are in full operation.
The large West Concourse is used by the airport's main carrier, Southwest Airlines. A tunnel leads down to the car rental and Garage A parking areas, while an indoor people mover ferries visitors between the terminal and parking garages A and B.
